Co-op Academy Brierley is a special educational needs school in Leeds, West Yorkshire, providing specialist education for children and young people with SEND. The academy is part of Co-op Academies Trust and is designed around a highly personalised approach that recognises each learner’s individual strengths, needs and aspirations.
The room
Aurora created both immersive and sensory environments at Co-op Academy Brierley, providing pupils with flexible spaces designed to support learning, wellbeing and individual needs. By providing both immersive projection and sensory technology, the spaces offer opportunities for pupils to engage more deeply with learning, explore new experiences and develop focus and curiosity, while also providing a supportive environment for calm, self-regulation and emotional wellbeing.
