- Cathryn Falconer, Danecourt Special School, Headteacher

We are really happy. Aurora have listened to exactly what we wanted and created a provision that will meet the needs of our children.

- Lou Elliott, Danecourt Special School, Assistant Headteacher

Some of our autistic learners with complex communication needs have found pleasure and their voice in seeing Julia Donaldson’s books come to life.

- Paul Grills, Teddington School, Headteacher

From the initial meeting to install, then on-site training, communication was clear, deadlines were met and we are extremely impressed with the final product. The experience has been great with Craig being really helpful.

- Callum Elliot Archer, Exeter Library, Libraries Unlimited, Centre Manager

The sensory zone has been a fantastic addition to our Children’s Library, helping us demonstrate our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. The sensory zone has quickly become a valued part of our service, offering something unique for both families and staff.

- Melanie Butcher, Barnsley Hospice, Ward Manager

We would recommend Aurora to those in the healthcare industry. There will be many care providers who haven’t even considered sensory and immersive technology, and they really should.

- Laura Thresh, Newstead Academy, Head of SEN and Inclusion

Thank you so much for the amazing sensory rooms at Newstead. They have made such a huge difference and really transformed the space!

- Rebecca Lambert, Barnsley Hospice, Head of Clinical Services and Quality Matron

This upgrade will absolutely enhance the experience of our patients and those close to them. At Barnsley Hospice, we are all about person-centred care, and this will go such a long way in helping us to deliver this.

- Alick Ford, Castle Tower School, Principal

Aurora are a pleasure to work with. They listen to the needs of our pupils and produce spaces that can be relied upon day after day by our staff. Aftercare is as important as the sale, they have always supported us and go out of their way to ensure we have everything we need to use our sensory spaces.

- Rebecca Lambert, Barnsley Hospice, Head of Clinical Services and Quality Matron

I really can’t express just how impressed I am with the transformation. It’s quite incredible. It will have such a huge impact on patients’ lives and the quality of their time they spend with us.

- Educational Leader, Hunningley Primary School, Assistant Principal

This immersive room has had the biggest impact we've seen so far in terms of what children understand about our curriculum, preparing them for the wider world. It has brought a sense of awe and wonder. A space they love working in, learning in, and I think it has brought quite a difficult curriculum to life.

- Chris Rue, Epinay School, Headteacher

This room will be timetabled every lesson, by different age groups, different subjects, and specialisms, so that it will enrich the curriculum right across the school for all our ages.

- Paul Grills, Teddington School, Headteacher

From the initial meeting to install and then on-site training communication was clear, deadlines were met and we are extremely impressed with the final product.

- Mrs J Kemp, Fitzalan High School, Assistant Headteacher

You can read about a topic, you can view it on a small screen, but actually being in a room and experiencing it makes things more memorable and understandable. We're really going to benefit from this.

- Ruth Radcliffe, Joseph Norton Academy, Operations and Partnership Manager

Our children are so impressed with their new classroom and Wizefloor. In fact, they think it’s ‘better than my house’ and ‘it’s like being in a magic story book.’ You rock and we are very grateful!

Sensory rooms focus on calming, stimulation, and sensory regulation through lighting, sound, tactile elements, and interactive features. Immersive rooms use projection, audio, environmental effects, and interactive technology to create fully engaging experiences for learning, therapy, and exploration.

Bespoke sensory and immersive environments are designed around your specific goals, users, and available space. Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, every Aurora environment is tailored by our specialists from initial consultation and design through to installation, training, and ongoing support.

This ensures all elements work seamlessly together, creating an environment that delivers meaningful outcomes, maximises engagement, and provides long-term value for your organisation.

Sensory rooms and immersive environments can benefit a wide range of users across multiple sectors.

In education, they can improve engagement, learning outcomes, emotional regulation, and inclusion. In healthcare and care settings, they can provide therapeutic, calming, and rehabilitative support. In retail, hospitality, and visitor attractions, they can create memorable customer experiences. Corporate organisations can also utilise immersive environments for training, wellbeing initiatives, collaboration, and staff engagement.

No. All Aurora environments are designed with ease of use in mind.

Our intuitive touchscreen control system allows users to manage lighting, audio, projections, scents, and environmental effects through a simple interface. Most users require only minimal training, and no technical expertise is needed to operate the space effectively.

Project timescales vary depending on the size and complexity of the installation.

Smaller projects can often be completed within a few weeks, whilst larger immersive environments or projects involving construction works may take longer, particularly if they form part of a wider refurbishment or new-build programme.

Typically, we work to a lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks from the point of order. On-site installation is usually completed within a matter of days, although projects requiring construction, decoration, or significant infrastructure works may require additional time.

There is no minimum room size requirement.

We create everything from compact sensory corners and breakout spaces to large-scale immersive environments. Every project is designed around the space you already have available, ensuring the best possible use of the environment.

Yes. Many of our projects involve transforming existing spaces into immersive or multi-sensory environments. We regularly convert classrooms, meeting rooms, care environments, libraries, retail spaces, hospitality venues, and workplace wellbeing areas into engaging sensory experiences, often with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

However, you don't need an existing room for us to work with. We also design and deliver purpose-built sensory rooms, immersive environments, and modular solutions for new-build projects, refurbishments, and extensions. Working closely with architects, contractors, and project teams, we can help integrate immersive and sensory technology into your plans from the outset.

Yes.

Every Aurora environment can be tailored to suit your users, objectives, and setting. Lighting, sound, scent, visual content, and interactive elements can all be customised to create engaging and meaningful experiences.

Typically, we provide users with the flexibility to utilise their own content within the environment, whether this is locally created media, educational resources, presentations, videos, or online content.

Where required, bespoke content packages can also be commissioned through our trusted content partners. However, many customers prefer the freedom and flexibility of sourcing and managing their own content.
