About the customer
Fitzalan High School is a large, diverse and inclusive secondary school in Cardiff, providing education for pupils aged 11–18. The school offers a broad curriculum, including sixth-form provision, with a strong emphasis on academic achievement, personal development and preparing students for further education, employment and adult life. It celebrates its multicultural community and aims to ensure all students are supported to achieve their potential.
The room
Aurora created a large-scale immersive room at Fitzalan High School as part of its wider school redevelopment. The 360° environment provides an adaptable space for immersive learning, enabling students to experience subjects and environments beyond the traditional classroom through interactive visual content and sensory experiences.
You can read about a topic, you can view it on a small screen, but actually being in a room and experiencing it makes things more memorable and understandable. We're really going to benefit from this. Staff have been really pleasantly surprised with how easy the system is to use.
