Pathways and Positive Journeys are specialist support services provided by Durham County Council to help adults with learning disabilities and other support needs develop greater independence, confidence and participation in their communities. The services focus on person-centred support, with individuals encouraged to identify and work towards their own goals through meaningful activities, social opportunities, life skills and community-based experiences.
The room
Aurora created an immersive environment for Positive Journeys, supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs through interactive and engaging experiences. The space combines immersive projection with Wizefloor technology, providing opportunities for movement, exploration, life-skills activities and greater independence.
