About the customer
Queens CofE Academy is an inclusive Church of England primary academy in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, serving pupils aged 7–11 and part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust. The school places a strong emphasis on valuing every child, providing a safe, happy and respectful environment in which pupils are encouraged to achieve their potential academically, socially, spiritually, personally and physically.
The room
Aurora supports Queens CofE Academy with a bespoke immersive learning environment combining immersive projection and Wizefloor interactive technology, creating multisensory experiences that bring the curriculum to life through visuals, sound, movement and interactive content. Used by pupils at least weekly, the space enables children to explore experiences ranging from outer space to historical settings, encouraging deeper understanding, creative thinking, collaboration and active participation, while providing particular benefits for SEND learners.
The impact has been significant, with the school reporting KS2 writing outcomes increasing from 69% to 84% achieving the expected standard, while greater-depth attainment rose from 22% to 40%, as pupils were able to draw on rich, concrete experiences to strengthen their writing and learning.
