Aurora & St James C of E Academy Transform Learning
Aurora delivers an immersive, interactive environment through collaborative design
"This is the second installation we have completed for the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust, which speaks volumes about their confidence in our work and the lasting impact our spaces continue to provide."
We are delighted to announce the completion of our latest immersive room installation at St James' C of E Academy, part of Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust. Featuring 270-degree wall projection and a Wizefloor One interactive floor surface, the finished space is a powerful example of what we can achieve together when ambition, flexibility and great collaboration come together.
The Brief
St James came to us with a clear vision: a three-wall immersive projection room with an interactive floor, designed to transform the way their students engage with the curriculum. In exploring the best space for this installation, the team worked with us to identify the ideal location, a former IT suite that offered exceptional potential for the project's success.
The collaborative approach meant we could plan the installation with flexibility and foresight. St James brought open communication, adaptability, and a shared commitment to the end goal, which allowed us to design a solution perfectly suited to the space and the school's vision.
The Process
The IT suite required thoughtful preparatory work to create an optimal immersive environment. A full wall was constructed to optimise the space, and existing surfaces were plastered throughout to create the smooth, projection-ready finish essential for stunning visual delivery.
Throughout the installation, the school's proactive support and collaborative spirit meant the project progressed smoothly. Open communication at every stage allowed us to work through each phase efficiently and find solutions quickly. This partnership model where the client is fully invested in the outcome and committed to the process is what delivers exceptional results.
The Results
Our finished room measures 7.3m x 7.3m and delivers a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience. Three-wall stitched projection wraps students in 270 degrees of visual content, whilst Wizefloor One transforms the floor into an interactive surface for hands-on, collaborative learning. Scent delivery and wind machines add further layers of sensory depth, making virtual environments feel genuinely real.
This is the second installation we have completed within Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust, which speaks volumes about the trust's confidence in our work and the lasting impact our spaces continue to provide.
